Reboot computer services

106 Walcot St, Bath BA1 5BG, UK – 01225 447227

These guys love their job, and you can see they get a lot of satisfaction from helping people with computer probs. My experience is the same as other reviewers - very positive - they are quick, helpful and great value for money. As well as being great for repairs they also have some real bargain second hand laptops. I bought a second hand laptop from them with a great spec at a really great price. Very grateful for their top service.

Great honest family business - very happy to bring any pc / laptop problems to these guys

Currys PC World

b, Weston Lock Retail, Lower Bristol Rd, Bath BA2 1EP, UK – 0344 561 0000

Been shopping here for years. For me, after hunting online, it's where I go to look at everything electrical. Without briciks and mortar retailers, we'll all be buying from pictures. I've found the staff to be relatively knowledgeable. C'mon guys, let's not forget what the staff get paid. Returns & repairs have been dealt with efficiently and fairly. Avoided buying expensive extended cover though. As a bonus, I often find some better products than I've managed to find online and at reasonable price. Good product pickers. Originally 2 stores, Currys and PC World. Joined into one building and now cut in half again, the other being M&S food, due no doubt to online shopping. Bath would losing a lot, if pc world decided to consolidate to Bristol, Cribbs and Chippenham. I've occasionally had to trek to these stores and didn't enjoy the experience. This is because this company is completely backward as it cannot transfer items between stores. This alone will be the companies downfall. Staff also completely ham-strung in not being able to offer anything to entice you buy something else, if they don't have your choice in stock. All they can do is look online, which I can do from my sofa. Update- Just come back from a trip to PC world. Can't have an item in the colour I want. None in the warehouse, so no home delivery. They can reserve it in a store, for collection, meaning a 150mile+ round trip. No thanks. This is becoming a very familiar story. Feel I'm being pushed away, to buy elsewhere.

It's. Young staff need better training. Take a leaf from John Lewis's organisation.

Stationery and Office Supplies

Ryman Stationery

20 Westgate St, Bath BA1 1EQ, UK – 01225 425201

Many items are far too expensive and the range of items are low, but good if you are pursuing calligraphy

I got a good student deal for my paper here and you can get stationary cheaper than at the Bath University shop. Large collection so lots to choose from.

Woods The Stationers

12 Old Bond St, Bath BA1 1BR, UK – 01225 445347

This is my go to shop for stationary. The staff are always helpful and friendly. I can always get what I need here!

Fantastic service! Had mislaid a receipt, and the staff made every effort to find a copy for me, with minimal information. A pleasure to deal with you. Thank you so much. DN
