Very quiet room, comfy bed and large room, named Bromham in old part at front of hotel. Good location for walking into town. Very good food and service. Prices for drinks a bit high. Excellent staff. Make sure you put your car registration in at the desk on the touch screen. Take your bathers as the pool is good, we forgot ours😩
Overall the hotel was Ok. However, I am a wheelchair user, and the bathroom for the accessible room was not fit for purpose. Not only was it grubby, but there was no way I could access the bath and the shower was over the bath! An accessible bathroom should be a wet room, or at least have a walk in shower with a shower chair.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Bear, the room was clean, comfortable and the en-suite was amazing, hot water first thing in the morning. The staff were very welcoming and even offered me a complimentary drink on arrival. I understand that it is under new ownership and management and from what I can see they are doing a fantastic job, would definitely stay again.
In the middle of a refurbishment; so the kitchen is closed. Staff are friendly and the room is comfortable and pleasant. There is no parking - one of the hotel websites suggested there was, I was fortunate that I arrived shortly before 6pm and could use on-street parking...

The Hotel was clean and tidy. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The location was close to the town, but traffic is light in that area. The food was very good and plenty of selection. I will be going again this year.
We stayed for a night. Extremely lovely and friendly owner! :) cute place for a night, with everything you need : kettle in the room, storage for your luggage and things, restaurant and bar onsite. Would visit again :)

Good pub for a night out and when the football is on. Relatively cheap and music is played.
Visited mid afternoom. My first menu option wasnt available so had good service in offering alternatives. Not busy butwas reasonabky priced

Really nice pub with friendly staff, great food, and a lovely terrace out back. Highly recommended. Not cheap. But generous portions of quality food. As long as you don't mind the risk of overeating, you'll be fine. 😉
A very nicely varied menu, the pork belly and the Thai curry were particularly good. Doom bar and tribute beers on hand pump, served well. Very much enjoy this place!

A proper local pub, with a good atmosphere, good for live sport and meals. Great staff too. Everything you need it to be really! Just moved to the area so happy to make this my regular.
Just had an impromptu family birthday meal at the Old Lane. Plenty of meal choices on the menu which kept us all happy, we even squeezed in a pudding! Good selection of beers, wine and cider and a large glass of house wine was a fantastic price! The food was good pub food. We ate outside in the well kept beer garden. Bar staff welcoming and friendly. We will be back - can't believe we nearly overlooked this pub! Main, pudding and large wine for under £10, extremely good value wining and dining!! We will be back - can't believe we nearly overlooked this pub! Thank you, we all enjoyed ourselves!
