We went to sit out in the rooftop bar which was quite spacious and peaceful. Not sure there was much of a view and the smell of cigarette smoke from the chef's down the outside stairs didn't make it that nice to sit outside. Going back through to leave though the food looked good, very tasty looking roast and the layout inside was very cosy. Lots of different areas to sit in and a range of food and drinks.
Just had dinner at the Hall & Woodlouse. Lovely place and good atmosphere. They allow dogs on the ground floor (this was the main reason we chose the place). Our food arrived super fast, our waitress was super attentive and our meal was delicious. Cannot fault it. 10/10. Highly recommend. We are very happy customers including our pooch 😀 PS: also good value for money!

Excellent food. Fast service. Good prices. Free range chicken and organic wine. Best lunch spot in bath.
Been there so many times and never been disappointed. Wonderfully flavourful dishes and good value. Randomly they also make the best tiramisu I have ever had.
90A Walcot St, Bath BA1 5BG, UK – 01225 462463
Good taste, friendly staffs. Very recommended
Wow. This is hands down the best Thai food I've had in the UK. So much so I didn't even take a picture. The food is served very quickly but quality does not suffer. The staff are incredibly friendly and polite too. Coconut rice is a must.

We had a wonderful Lunch at this lovely little restaurant. Henry is a wonderful Chef. Thank you for introducing yourself! The other staff were very friendly and polite. The food was truly innovative and absolutely delicious. Travelled an hour to get there and would certainly return.
Spectacular! A short menu but almost impossible to choose - it all sounds tempting. And when the food arrives, it is mindblowing. Beautifully prepared, clean tastes - pure joy. Menu, service and interior - all thoughtful and accommodating. Best dining experience in a long time.

Very good food, courteously served. Even took account of a food allergy, albeit at the second attempt. Would definitely go again.
Superb family business from Kwhan and his trilingual assistant Albert. I remember ordering champagne finger bowls and they obliged. Same management for 25 years!

Nice restaurant, good service and even better food. Only downfall is the toilets which weren't very clean.
Very friendly boss and staff....nice food at reasonable price

We had crispy pork and duck. The meat portion was huge. But the taste is not that great.
Good value Chinese food, the dishes on the non-English menu look much better but not sure how to order these
8A Quiet St, Bath BA1 2JS, UK – 01225 422323
We had a family meal here while visiting Bath. The restaurant is upstairs in a lovely large room with high ornate ceiling The meal was lovely. We each tried something different from the menu and no one was disappointed. The naan's were really tasty too. I understand why some reviewers have complained about the staff being abrupt, we had no problems but they aren't as friendly as I am used to. Overall we would definitely return.
Delicious food. Defiantly one of the best Indian restaurants in town. Service can be slow but worth the wait. The building is very spacious and comfortable. There are a lot of tables but you don't feel crowded.
9-10 High St, Bath BA1 5AQ, UK – 01225 464631
Very high standard of food in this restaurant. You can really tell all the spices are fresh and all the breads are cooked in house. As a life long vegetarian, I can't recommend this restaurant more.
Slow service but delicious food!! White and blue interiors and matching tables makes it look pleasant inside. Good vegetarian options, drinks and great views of the Bath Abbey gives this place more points!

This place was fantastic! As someone who lives here, I will frequent this place! So many spice flavours without being too hot at all. The samosas were to die for and they do an amazing onion bhaji wrap. Currently £6 for an onion bhaji wrap and a samosa. £4 for gluten free curry and rice. Tiny place full of charm with lovely conversational staff. Not a long wait (although the queue will go out the door if it is more than two people! This is a prime example of some of the best street food in Britain!
Really lovely place, great conversational staff. Location is really good, food is really delicious and fresh. Really well priced, especially for the portions. Nothing we had was too spicy. Would definitely recommend for a quick bite
6 Newmarket Row, Bath BA2 4AN, UK – 01225 460240
Food was good for the price. Lower level of the restaurant is a bit small but manageable. Overall the food was delicious and a good price.
Excellent food, great service and cosy atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

There's a reason you usually have to book 7-weeks-or-so in advance! Bath has an abundance of Italian restaurants (just twigged; maybe it's the Roman connection!) this is widely agreed to be the best. They were voted 'Best Italian Restaurant' in Bath at the Good Food Awards. A lovely restaurant set below-ground in vaulted cellars with a great classic Italian menu and as good a wine list as you expect to accompany it. If you're looking for a 'special occasion' place to go or if you know you're visiting Bath at any point, then I recommend booking here above anywhere else in Bath.
Very interesting place looking forward to spend a nice night in here. I had the pleasure to be served from our personal waiter of the night mr Alessandro. Very nice guy helping us explaining the menu and lead us to a very nice tasting experience. Really enjoy my time And definitely going back.
8-9 George St, Bath BA1 2EH, UK – 01225 460818
A fun place to dine. Typical Italian fayre (in a good way). The menu has all you could wish for from an Italian restaurant, supplemented with some great things on the board for the day. The staff are what really makes this place stand out. You are assured of a warm welcome and a smile. The staff are knowledgeable and polite, but with a cheeky sense of humour. Eat here, enjoy the food, enjoy the atmosphere and then enjoy the memories!!
Absolutely beautiful experience. My boyfriend and I arrived in Bath from Canada and our first night were walking to find dinner and the smell of delicious food guided us to Martini's doorway. The staff was friendly and lovely. They made the experience all the better. I can't even describe how flavourful my food was and my boyfriend's was somehow just as perfect. Would recommend to anyone wanting great dining in Bath.

First time at the restaurant a lovely cosy quirky place. Situated at one of Bath great little alleyways. I am not a vegetarian by any stretch of the imagination but my new partner is. But one thing I am is a foodie. All I can say is absolutely stunning meal, from the staff being wonderful and not rushing this even though it took us 2 1/2 hours to have our dinner to the presentation which was exquisite and the taste explosion was divine. Complimented by the wine that was chosen to go with the meals for anyone that loves food this place is a must. The only downside is I didn't have enough room for desert so I'm going to have to go back.
My partner and I are both committed veggies, love good food and love to cook. We were genuinely excited to find out about this restaurant and were looking forward to come and eat here. But....I'm sorry Acorn but I only give 3 stars - stars awarded because the food was actually good. However, the way the food was delivered, and the space in which it is consumed, simply doesn't match the care and consideration that is clearly coming from the kitchen. Regards the food - the portions were not large, but what was offered was well presented and tasty. Good, creative vegetarian and vegan cooking. The chocolate and coffee ganache was a crowning glory, very good indeed and, for me, the excellent desert went quite a way to make up for the other disappointing bits which were undermining the chef's good work downstairs. The not so good bits - ownership might like to take note - Acorn is nearly something very good. However, we couldn't equate the skill and care of the kitchen with what goes on front of house. Food served with dirty crockery, dirty tables and waiting staff who appear to lack awareness of what makes good service - which in my opinion, must extend beyond a simple carry from kitchen to table. We're gonna give it a few months and come back...wishing you every success!

Great place to eat, friendly and helpful staff. Good selection of clearly marked vegan and g/f options. Fast service considering our visit was at lunchtime, 12.30. Lovely food. I will return when next in Bath.
Pleasant vegetarian cafe. Corn fritters too spicy hot. Mushroom and chestnut sausages OK and served with excellent mash but slightly strange gravy. Pleasant Rioja at a very fair price.
14a Manvers St, Bath BA1 1JH, UK – 01225 444288
Would definitely recommend this place to anyone! Safe and secure luggage storage, can't be anything better than that! It's normally £4.20 a bag but they only charged me £2.50. They also gave me 25% off their lovely sandwich and coffee which is brilliant!
Friendy service, great all you can eat food, will be coming here again!
5-6 Saw Cl, Bath BA1 1EN, UK – 01225 312341
OK for quick snack with a drink. Food was reasonable but nothing to rave about. Service was ok. My 18 year old daughter would not have been served on her own as it was after 6pm. Go figure ....?
A simply fantastic wine bar. Large selection by the glass, and some outstanding value items by the bottle as well. Attentive staff, and a good atmosphere.
15 - 19 George St, Bath BA1 2EN, UK – 01225 585100
Amazing evening spent here. We reserved a table and even though we arrived 40 mins early we were welcomed at the door and shown to our table. People were day there but they were asked to move. Our seat was by a fire place and was very cosy. Cocktails were great all evening. There was a great buzz and despite feeling busy it was an enjoyable place to be.
Service is appalling at busy times. Need more staff.
11-12 High St, Bath BA1 5AQ, UK – 01225 334614
Sits beautifully next to the cathedral. Prices are what is typical of Bath main area. Large selection of drinks. Mocktails are delicious. Will visit here again.
We stopped in for a late lunch upon arrival in town. There was not a lot of people. The server was a bit flustered we had to seat our selves. Despite the restaurant being mostly empty it took a while to get service, get our drinks, and get our food. We had to ask for my water because it didn't come with the other drinks and the server didn't know which pop had booze in it. I asked for some cheese on my burger and didn't get that either. Other than that the place was clean (though the men's room floor was sticky) and had a nice atmosphere and the food was delicious.
