Friendly staff, good range of drinks, food is good, a little expensive for
Good quality service, food and beer. My only criticism is that when an adult's roast is twice as much as the kid's, you expect more than 2 extra spuds and a larger portion of veg.

We went last night for a cheeky night cap... and I'm so glad we did. We had lovely service throughout and love the small cosy rooms. The drinks were lovely and just chatting to the girl behind the bar had suggested the perfect drink for me before we had even looked at the menu. Although saying that. All the girls were so polite, friendly and hard working, they deserve every tip that they get!
I went on a first date in here. First great atmosphere, very relaxing. Second really good staff, very friendly and made us feel welcomed. Third top quality drinks.

Great pub. Can take a while to get served. Has great deals on drinks and food. Seating booths and sport are decent in there. I had fish and chips and it was cooked well, the batter was nice. The service in there is good and they seem to deal with their demand well. Has a hostel next to it which makes it more popular. Security staff can be quite rude at time which is why its not a 5. Generally a good pub to go to.
Nachos with pulled pork - An excellent bar snack. Great staff and atmosphere
9-13 Alfred St, Bath BA1 2QX, UK – 01225 314812
Excellent food, good selection in comfortable surroundings. Centrally located with very good service. Great wine list.
I had the battered fish and chips, good portions, well presented, piping hot, slitly too salty for my taste, still I recommend the restaurant.

I've been coming here for quite a while now. I also send my clients here when they ask me for recommendations and I'm yet to have a customer come back to me who didn't love it as much as I do. Steaks cooked to perfection every time, delicious sauces and sides and waiting staff are naturally great hosts. Brought my family here for my 21st and they catered very well to a range of needs and made the day extra special. I was also informed the burgers are made from cuts of left over steak and I must admit they were brilliant burgers. Cocktails are awesome and we have taken wine recommendations from staff each time and they have yet to fail us for a good pairing! Never a bad experience here and we will be coming back for a long time. Thank you to the CAU team! Our waiter (Anthony) was excellent!
Absolutely the best steak I've ever had. Beats Hudson's hands down in my opinion. Thick juicy steak with a salty crust. YUM! The cocktails and the service are amazing too. Still buzzing about it a week later! Just go!

Absolutely amazing sea food. We had the oysters, mixed seafood grill and the salmon fillet. All cooked to perfection. Drinks were great. Couldn’t talk this place up more if we tried. Pricey but you get what you pay for :)
As part of a chain, it's neither the best nor the worst Loch Fyne in the country. My fish was cooked perfectly but it was the only thing that was out of 9 meals so not a great return. Service was ok but the menu we were given was dirty and stained to the point of probably needing to be thrown out.
1-2 New St, Bath BA1 2AF, UK – 01225 466377
Really fantastic food and impressively fast service. We ordered duck, tofu, beef and shredded chicken, all excellent. Service was mostly good apart from a waiter who was clearly new so I won't let him affect the score or review. I have very few complaints other than a few small comments. The menus need re-printing. Get on that ASAP before the really start looking unprofessional. They're not quite there yet. Pricing was reasonable and the menu was easy to understand. The pudding menu could be improved by including more dishes that are available. Two attempts were made at ordering desert but the staff are lovely and helpful so it doesn't matter. Lovely fish tank too, even if they look a bit like they need an air pump in there (they're bunched up and not very active.) Overall, a great experience and I wish I could go more often.
Fantastic Chinese cuisine - excellent value and service. We have often walked past but we have never stopped at this restaurant. How glad we are that we stopped by today after a trip to the spa and a check of the reviews on Google Maps. We are very happy to recommend Peking Restaurant to anyone looking for tasty and good value Chinese cuisine. Enjoy!

Best Chinese food in Bath!! The chili pork and curry beef was very authentic and flavorful. Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves Chinese food.
Absolutely loved it. We will definitely be going back. Not greasy and very tasty

I've never had a bad meal here. Food fantastic, service fast and efficient. Can highly recommend the hot lemon tea on a cold night! I need to take a flask next time to bring some home with me. Hopefully will be back again very soon. NB - This was a review of Hong Kong Bistro, last visited December 2017. It's since been renamed and the menu has been completely changed.
This restaurant is quite good. Waiters are warm heart and the service is good. The food looks good and tastes delicious. If I have a chance, I will come to this restaurant again.

Fantastic indian restaurant, menu has some really nice additions that others don't have. Food is really nice and well presented. The interior decor is again very well maintained. Service is very friendly and welcoming, there is no car park. They do home delivery.
Went there for a quick meal before the opera. We were running late but luckily the food came out quickly and it was very good as well. We enjoyed it. The only downside is we couldn't enjoy a glass of wine because they don't serve alcoholic drinks. But still, it was very good.

We popped in after seeing all the great reviews this tiny little place received. The portion sizes were really big and the food was prepared as we waited, so it was deliciously warm and fresh. We had the falafel and onion wraps and thoroughly enjoyed the combination of ingredients and the spices used. If I lived in Bath I’d visit every day, as one of the other clients told me he does. Do be aware that there’s nowhere to sit here, so this is a take out restaurant not a place for a nice date or something. But if you’re looking for something to munch while you roam the streets of Bath then you’ve found the best place!
Really great place. Tried the onion bhaji wraps, samosas, and samosa chaat - all tasted awesome. And the guys that work here are super nice too. Must visit if you're in the area.

Absolutely superb. One of the best curries we have had, if not the best. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Would definitely recommend.
It is an absolute favourite of mine in Bath. I make sure I go there every time I visit Bath. It’s the ideal place for an Indian vegetarian. For the first time in the UK, I don’t have to worry about food contamination since I’m a vegetarian. As for the taste, they serve authentic Indian food in an absolutely affordable price. I hope it gets more business and does well. Cheers!

I simply must get out more. I haven't been to this venue since it was a pub - now it's a very romantic and bordering on the chic, Italian restaurant. This night I'd come out of a venue wich I mistakenly thought provided food and drink - feeling hunger pangs I stopped off at this warm and inviting venue. My requirements were modest but it came quickly and with panache, served by Jasmine, a gamin whose smile added an aurora to the establishment mood lighting. A lovely place to eat with a very relaxing ambience.
Phenomenal food, lovely staff, reasonably priced. Homemade bread is authentic and delicious, all the food is freshly cooked and leaves you feeling satisfied and happy. Plenty of lighter options on the menu but also lots of choice. Great atmosphere in the restaurant, very cosy and warm

Had an amazing lunch here today. After smelling delicious food half way down the road I decided to stop in and give it a try. The food was amazing and worth every penny. The waiters display passion and dedication which I really appreciated. Sitting near the bar and watching the bartender carefully make and serve drinks was a delight. I highly suggest attending this warm and welcoming restaurant!
Wonderful restaurant just like being in Italy. Warm and welcoming squeezed us in without having a reservation but didn't rush us through which was wonderful. I had the swordfish special which was stunning even the potatoes that came with it were divine. My partner had gnocchi which he equally enjoyed. For pudding I had their chocolate cake which was the best I've ever had I highly recommend it. Thank you for giving us a fantastic evening.

Visited Ask whilst visiting Bath over the Easter Weekend. The staff were very friendly and the food was exceptional. Will definitely go back on my next visit to Bath.
This branch really has improved. The food tastes fresh and yummy and the service was fab. We had a great waiter-nothing was too much trouble. Thank you!

Wonderful restaurant serving super food at reasonable prices. The food here is always a highpoint of a visit to Bath. Good range of wines and staff are attentive without being intrusive. Ideally located close to the main shops and the theatre. I cannot recommend it too highly
An informal French Restaurant – more like a Brasserie in the centre of Bath. Good Food and attentive service. Food was a touch too salty for my liking. It was too dark to see how the food was presented but the pictures taken are better than what I could see. (The wonders of present day technology).

Really really love this place. Was warmly welcomed by one of the younger staff. He kindly waited for us to settle down before explaining the menu and specials to us. Service was outstanding and the small talk came rather naturally. The food was fantastic especially the gyros I ordered which came in a mammoth portion of perfectly sculpted pork on top of crispy chips. The Greek yogurt that accompanied the dish helped cool my palate and helped with the massive heaps of meat and pita bread. Ended the meal with Greek coffee and the waiter explained how it was boiled and the way to drink it properly. Very impressed by the food and service. Definitely a must come when you're in Bath!
Amazing place. Visited Bath to go to the spa. First day out since having my son 10 months ago. Love Greek food and this place was just like being in a Greek taverna. Food was amazing. Will definitely be back. Really good authentic food and lovely service

Classy and the food looked amazing, we just missed the kitchen, cocktails were spot on though. Comfy and cosy with good vibes and a knowledgeable barman. Music was great. Not a budget option though. Would have loved to have tried the cheese and charcuterie boards...
Professional, friendly & quick service. Cocktails are fantastic and well worth the money. Food is great quality.

So, after attending an evening at the Earl and moving onto the Second Bridge nightclub I had a great time, until the end when I couldn't find my ticket and had to leave my coat there. After returning almost two weeks later, Eden (The staff member) took a calm and professional approach to helping me find my coat in which she did, so thank you Eden, I will be returning soon!

I came here for afternoon tea/gin for a friend's hen do and then came back later in the evening as part of our night out. Scott was a legend and made us feel really welcome and made our time there so special. Afternoon tea/gin was brilliant. I'd highly recommend booking it for a hen party or even just a random afternoon anytime. When we came back at night Scott and his team made sure we were looked after. Also the DJ was playing some epic tunes and we danced the night away. It was the highlight of the weekend.
Having been to this bar on many occasions I am shocked by some of the recent reviews regarding door staff. Having witnessed what they do to ensure the customers have a safe and enjoyable night is remarkable and what they also have to put with is aswell. Most enjoyable night's have been had and many more to follow. Big thanks to the CIRCO team
