Good book selection and plenty of helpful staff. Nice airy space in handy location. Computers getting a bit tired e.g. slow log in times, broken keyboards (legs/stands snapped), can't book PC's online and printing service limited. Would benefit from later closing times a few days a week. Automated book check out service handy but fiddly until done a few times to get the hang of it, seen a few frustrated oldies because they aren't tech savvy. Study area has useful plug points for laptops. Good overall but funding cuts are starting to show. Are lower taxes/council tax bills worthwhile if future generations get short changed in other ways? A rich town like Bath should have an exemplary, well funded, all round library service for all, it could afford one if it really wanted one.
One of the best locations for a library: Central, near shops, tea-rooms etc. Easy access with a lift that arrives right outside, lovely views from large windows. My Mum used the reference section to write her book which after publication is now IN the library. HOWEVER BANES are now planning to close and re-locate it:( SAVE BATH LIBRARY !!!

A library at the University of Bath! What more could you want? Well... maybe a Cornish pasty though the Students' Union nearby does some swell ones and there's a beautiful lake nearby perfect for drowning things, so convenient, 5 stars, would recommend.
24 hours library for University of Bath. Great views of the pond from all the floors. Will need student ID card to access.
